Everything you need to know before getting started.
Do I need to be an elite athlete to join?
Not at all. We work with everyone from juniors, to first-time marathon runners to Olympians. What matters is that you’re serious about your performance and willing to commit to a structured program.
How does the coaching really work?
Once you sign up, you’ll be set up on our training app (Everfit or TrainingPeaks) where your program is delivered weekly. You have direct messaging access to your coach, and Premium members receive a weekly phone or Zoom call. Everything is personalised, there are no generic templates.
What is the difference between sports performance and premium?
Both tiers include personalised programming, gym work, nutrition, and coach messaging. Premium adds a weekly one-on-one call with your coach, priority response times, and dedicated race and event planning support. If you want a closer coaching relationship, Premium is the right fit.
How long are the programs?
Coaching is structured in 12-week blocks. After each block, your program is reviewed and progressed based on your results and upcoming events.
Can I do this anywhere in the world?
Yes, all coaching is 100% online. We work with athletes across Australia and internationally.
What if I get injured or need to pause?
Life happens. We work with you to modify your program around injury, illness, or schedule disruptions. You’re not left to figure it out alone.
How quickly can I start?
Within one business day. Usually much sooner.

Linc Barnes is a high performance strength and conditioning coach based on the Gold Coast with over a decade of experience coaching Olympic-level sprinters and competitive endurance athletes. Linc founded Linked Together Coaching in 2015 and now also is the Head of Programming for Viking Athletics and co-owner of Viking Athletics Performance Centre, Linc brings elite-level science to everyday athletes. His approach is direct, evidence-based, and built around what actually works.
